Thanksgiving point

It's been so fun being in Utah again. On Tuesday we went to Thanksgiving point to see the animals. Ava was loving it at first. She liked the cows alot. As we moved down the sidewalk this obnoxious donkey made the loudest noise ever! She turned around with this look of fear and started crying. So sad! So after that it was hard to get her excited about any of the animals. And it was so hot. I thought I was leaving the hot weather in Vegas! We will have to come down here more often so she can get used seeing animals in real life and not just in books! We might have better luck at the zoo, she likes zebras, giraffes, and elephants more!

My Birthday

I had such a good birthday this year! It sucked being away from my family but I will see them soon. In the morning I had my hair done. And by the way I did not go in thinking I was going to do what was done. My hair lady who is super nice suggested I give my hair a break from what I have always done! I am still getting used to it but it's a fun change.
So I have to say that I have the best friends EVER! Camille watched Ava for me in the morning and then in the afternoon we went to the temple with the Kinghorns and Karrissa watched her for us. THANK YOU!! I don't know what I would do without them! The temple was great, I loved spending time there just me and Eric. It was nice to get out of the 107 degree heat! I spend alot of my birthday sweating to death! After that we had all our friends over for pizza and ice cream! Eric made the best dessert ever! We got the idea from Karrissa's birthday. It's peanut butter rice crispy pie with ice cream on top!! Yummy!! Thanks babe! I am just getting some photography stuff for my birthday nothing too exciting but that's exactly what I want. Eric was so sweet to take care of everything for the day! Thanks to everyone that called or text!

Just wanted to say happy birthday to my sister Robyn! We are the big 25 today. This is the first birthday we have not been with each other. So sad!! I talk to her pretty much every day though! I hardly ever use my little point and shoot camera so when I was going through the pictures I totally forgot about some. Ava helped daddy put together his new grill. This was actually Eric's Fathers Day present but he is so impatient he got it early. Ava was such a good helper, she grabbed a tool and started poking around and banging on the pieces. I love watching these two together!

Happy Father's Day

Happy Father's day to my wonderful husband!! I just wanted to say what an awesome daddy he is! He takes such good care of Ava and she loves playing with her daddy! Ava is so lucky to have him! I appreciate all he does for both of us! Happy Father's Day babe! We love you!!

Favorite new word

Ava just started saying this the other day. Probably because we've been saying it to her alot lately. I don't think I will like it later but right now it's so cute! It makes me laugh every time I hear it!

So I finally decided to make a photography blog! It's nothing fancy just a place to put all the pictures I've been taking! I put some of baby Kylie on this blog so I only have one session on right now but I just took some pics for the cutest little family so I'll be posting those as soon as I proof them! Weekend in St George

We spent this last weekend in St George with the Kinghorns and Winwards! It was so nice to just hand out and do some swimming! We went out to eat at the Pizza Factory on Friday night-yum! I have not had that for a long time. Saturday the boys got up early to go golfing and the girls hung out and went to the park. We decided to get some shopping in later that day. Eric and I took turns watching Ava. She is kind of a stinker when we don't have a stroller! She loves to play with other kids that are in the stores. That night we had dinner at Outback. I don't usually like it that much but I got the most delicious burger so it was great! Then it was back to the pool. I had my camera so we had fun taking pictures. It was a fun little vacation! Sorry for the picture overload. I am fully aware that I have a problem when it comes to taking pictures!

15 month check up

Ava actually turned 15 months on the 16th but she just had her little check up. I was so excited to see how much she weighed, I swear she is heavier all of a sudden. And it turns out I was right! Here are her stats:
Height 30 3/4inches (50%-75%)
Weight 24.9lbs (75%)
Head circumference 47 (75%-90%)

Almost 25 pounds! That's crazy! And as usual her head is quite large. She hates getting shirts taken on and off. I try and remind myself she was 15 1/2 months! She can be so much fun and I love hearing her laugh! It's seriously my favorite thing ever! She seems like such a BIG girl sometimes. She is saying words alot clearer now. We love her soooo much! So here are some of Ava's NEW things!

-says "duck" although it's usually "duckduckduckduck" really fast and in multiples
-laughs at cartoons (it's so dang cute to watch too!)
-can go up and down stairs by herself
-finds certain things in books when I ask her
-loves to say Uh-oh
-puts her finger in her mouth and tries to make that "pop" sound! It's seriously so funny.
-Can almost do a somersault(she gets her head down and pushes with her feet!)
-can throw a tantrum (especially if she can't go outside whenever she wants)
-LOVES to dance, kick, and do circles.
-eats with a spoon and fork pretty good
-brings the chalk in the house and colors on everything
-it tall enough now to open doors! (not that fun for us!)
-says fishy and bubble
-can sign thank you

-is officially off bottles!
-has an adorable new beauty queen wave. So cute!
-can be the cutest, sweetest, most adorable baby EVER!
