He was 6 weeks old! And right now he is 8! How does it happen so fast!?!!

Easter Morning

We had a great Easter! It was so fun to see TWO Easter baskets this year! Ava and Dresden got lots of fun things from the Easter bunny. I love watching Ava get new presents, she is always genuinely surprised and happy about them!


She saw the Tinkerbell book and pulled it out so fast I didn't get a picture of them both just sitting there. I love that Dresden is just chillin in the background!
Daddy got her a little people Doctor and Dentist!


She got down and gave Dresden his basketball eggs. I love how sweet she is to him.

Ava in her new Easter dress! This was the best I could get out of her. And we were already so late for church we didn't get a family picture. :( But later we got these...

Church was great. It was our first time back as a family of four and I'm so glad in was on Easter! Ava did awesome in nursery and I was so excited to see her pictures of Jesus and the Tomb. I feel like she is becoming such a big girl. After Church we colored some eggs. Ava seemed to really enjoy it!

Easter egg hunt

On Friday we got together with some friends to have an Easter egg hunt at the park. We had a little picnic first and then all the kids looked for eggs. Ava did pretty good at first and then when she had about 5 eggs she decided it was time to just open them and start eating!

Harpers brought their wagon and the kids had sooooo much fun pushing it down the hill. Ava was obsessed with it. She was having so much fun.

Catching up

I found so many pictures on my camera. These are some of my favorites. There are alot of Dresden sleeping. I just think he looks so sweet! He is already changing so much.

Ava thinks that everything on a slight angle is a slide. We were putting our shelves up and she jumped right up and tried to slide down.

3 weeks old
When he had his one month appointment he weighed 9 pounds 15 ounces and was still 21 inches long. He is growing way to fast! So sad :(

This happens alot! Ava LOVES when daddy comes home. She runs to give him a hug every time he walks in the door. I really need to get a picture of it. She has her arms out the whole way to see him. She usually drags him upstairs to play but she was just finishing a show so he got to rest for a bit. He is so good to help me when he gets home even though he is tired. Dresden sleeps really well on his chest too.

These really were taken on different days, daddy just gets to wear the same thing almost every day! And Ava is naked almost all day so it's hard to find pictures of her dressed lately. She is doing really well with potty training. She is so good about telling me when she has to go, and she can pull her own panties down now. We still haven't attempted to leave the house in panties though.
