One month

One month came so fast but at the same time almost seemed to move in slow motion. The days were going by fast but the long long nights were draining me! I can't complain though I got to see my sweet girls cute little face lots and lots!

Weight  9lbs 13oz - 25%
Height   22 inches - 56%

There are so many things we love about Miss Nora.
Nora, we pretty much think everything you do is adorable. Even your cute little cry. I especially love your pouty lips when your sad.
You are very loved by your big brother and sister. They are constantly asking to hold you and see your face. And Dresden gets a little sad when you won't hold his finger.
Right now you are sleeping in our room because you wake up to eat every two hours. And since you don't like sleeping flat on your back you're in a bouncer.
You love to stretch out your arms and legs when we lay you flat.
I love that you let me hold you over my shoulder. You give the best cuddles!
You still have cute little wrinkly legs.
You are starting to take a binky better and can almost hold it by your self.
We are all obsessed with you and are so glad your in our family!
You are always making funny faces and sounds. Which make the kids laugh pretty hard. They love when you sneeze, or burp.
We love you so much!

September iphone pictures

September flew by and now October is almost over! I sometimes forget about pictures we take on the iphone but I want to make sure I include them on here.

Visiting us in the hospital. They loved to push Nora and visit the snack room!

First day home

My mom slept in Dresden's room and he shared with Ava. Every time we went in there we would laugh at the crazy positions they were in. They have always been wiggly sleepers!

I always love when she stretches! She has this same pose every time too!

Eric got to go to his first Husker game with some guys from school.

Helping give Nora a bath. She didn't like them so Ava was holding her hand and Dresden was singing rock-a-bye baby to her! It was pretty cute! They are good helpers.

 She is so long.

Ava can be just the sweetest thing sometimes! She put this together and told Eric and I it was for our romantic date! She has done it a few times since then and has even included center pieces with flowers and bottled water.

Nora's newborn pictures

I was so excited to take Nora's pictures. Not that I haven't already taken a million but I just love a sleeping baby! It took awhile to get her super sleep time just right but once we did she was pretty good! Eric and grandma were a huge help moving things around and adjusting everything. Eric is like the baby whisperer, he could always get her to calm down and go back to sleep!
I haven't taken newborn pictures for a long time so I was a little out of practice but I love these! I don't want her to keep growing, she is just so sweet and tiny right now.

LOVE this one! Eric built that cute doll bed for me. We decided it would only be worth it if we gave it to Ava for her babies and eventually Nora when she is older. Eric is so good at that kind of stuff. It looks great! I made the banner and blanket to go with it! My mom also made her cute little headband.

It's kinda driving me crazy that she's not center but we didn't dare move her once she was asleep!

I was telling my mom that I wished I had a cute little hat for her pictures. So my amazing mom said she would try and make one. That day we ordered a pattern and by the next day she had crocheted this adorable hat! I love it!

Love her little smile in this one

Grandma also made this blanket just for pictures! It matched her little lace outfit perfect!

I really wanted to get one of all three kiddos but it didn't happen until she was three weeks old! It was fast because we couldn't get Nora to stay asleep and the kids never last long with pictures! But at least we got some.

They were just hanging out while we were setting things up. So cute!

I wanted some of Nora with Eric and I but again it wasn't happening. So sad. But these were a couple that were ok and then she was done! And it was hard to catch me at at time when I actually got ready for the day! Haha!

Miss Nora

We pretty much are obsessed with little miss Nora! She is just so fun to hold and squeeze and kiss! She is the center of our world right now and her and I are pretty much always together! The kids ask to hold her at least 47 times a day! They kind of drive me crazy with how close they feel they need to get to her face. But they just love her to pieces and it makes me happy. If they can't see her they immediately ask where she is.
Nursing was going great the first two weeks and then she started to latch on different (ouch), but after going to a lactation consultant things are much better. She eats every two hours but we are working on stretching it to 2 1/2 now that she is 5 weeks. (I'm slowly trying to catch up on everything) She is getting faster too! I feel bad sometimes, it feels like I am always nursing and the kids are left the fend for themselves. I am looking forward to getting back on a routine! I miss the gym and so does Dresden! Hopefully we can get back in a couple weeks. He started to get a little naughty, which is so not like him. I'm guessing it's all the change that is happening but I miss my sweet boy!
Ava also became such a big girl! She is more helpful and is listening better too. She loves to hold Nora and is always talking about how cute she is. I love when I over hear her talking to her friends about Nora, she is so proud! Even Dresden talks about her to his friends. They always want to show her off to everyone!

 She has long feet!

I'm so obsessed with her skin, it really is so pretty!

They are so buggy with her sometimes but it almost looks like she is smiling at them!

first 2 weeks at home

I was a little sad to leave the hospital but also excited to be home with my family. I really missed the nurses coming in and helping me get Nora in and out of her little crib and bring me pain medicine. It was so fun to bring her home to the kids though. They had been asking when we were coming home for awhile.
Nora did so good too. She slept pretty good in the day and ok at night. Some night were better than others. She eats every two hours which goes by so fast!
Thank goodness my mom was there! I really have the best Mom, I don't know what I would have done without her. She literally did everything for the two weeks she was here! The laundry was always done, the house cleaned, she took and picked up the kids up from school, went to the grocery store, let me take naps and showers,  made and bought yummy dinners, crocheted two blankets and two hats for Nora, and played with the kids! It was so nice to get those two weeks in to recover from the c-section. I really miss living by my family and it was so nice to get my short turn of having her all to myself. I miss having adult conversations in the day too! Thank you Mom for coming out and taking care of us!!

The Sunday we got home from the hospital Ava lost her first tooth!! It had been loose for a couple weeks and when she went to brush her teeth it fell out! Excited does not even begin to describe how she felt! I was so happy for her, she really wanted it to fall out while she was 5!

And of course the tooth fairy came! She carried that around with her for two weeks.

I just loved her little wrinkly legs! 4 days old

Dresden surprised us with how much he loved and wanted to hold Nora! He was always rubbing her head and holding her hand. If I started taking pictures of Nora, Dresden always wants to lay by her and be in the picture! He was so sweet with her.

 6 days old

Grandma and the kids loved to play baseball outside! Her and Dresden played almost every day before school. They also played a lot of hide and seek!

9 days with a serious double chin!

 10 days

I love her hair line. She is pretty bald until about half way back and then she has lots of dark hair! She also has a little darker skin right now. I love her skin, it's so pretty and clear!

One morning I came out and found Dresden like this! That's his hair paste and apparently he was combing his own hair! He makes me laugh!

 13 days old

Grandma made carmel apples with the kids. They had so much fun spending time with grandma! They were always coloring and playing games together.

The carmel apples were so yummy!
