Play date

So Ava's good friend Carolyne is one of the sweet girls that has moved. We decided to have her over for a play date one last time and let her parents get some packing done. But then I decided it would be fun to have a few more friends over to play! So we did, and it was so much fun! I was a little nervous for all the girlie's to play well but the totally did. Sometimes they got their own activities started and sometimes I helped a bit! Ava loves having friends over!


This was all their own idea, it was hilarious watching them! I really didn't plan on taking pictures but they were being so cute...and loud! I then of course got carried away and took a ton! :)I'm surprised Dresden slept through it all! Haha




Then it was time for some outside fun!
play dough was next. They are so fun to watch and they shared so well. I love the ideas they came up with.

This was pretty funny too! Brinley was "Belle" and Carolyne was the "Beast", McKinley was "Ariel " and Ava was "Prince Eric"!! i just missed the picture but they were dancing!! They continued outside and were rescuing each other! They all took turns being the princess!

Then they helped put the m&m's in the cookies...and of course in their mouths too!

Saying Good bye

We had to say good bye to some awesome friends a couple weeks ago! We had one last big BBQ together. It was so fun to hang out all together. We are really going to miss all the big play dates, dinner's, BBQ's, girl's nights watching the Bachelor, and birthday get togethers. It is going to be kind of a lonely year until we graduate! I can't believe we only have a ONE year left!

Mother's Day

Mother's day was sort of good! I was sick almost the whole day! BOO!! But Eric took such good care of me! It was kinda nice to just hang out at home with everyone. I only got one picture that day and it was Dresden standing on my present. Dresden and Ava gave me new pans!! Which I wanted and needed! Eric's present is tickets to a show here in Vegas. Can you believe we have never been to one! That week Ava also brought home a cute little present for me. She was so sweet and was so excited to pull it out of her backpack. She said "It's for you mom"! It was a cute little frame with her picture in it and a card she colored on. I was so excited for my first hand-made Mother's Day present! I am so lucky to be the mom of two sweet kids! I love them so much!
I also have the best mom ever and am so thankful for everything she does for me. She is the perfect example of what it means to be loving mom who does anything for her kids! Love you mom!

Lake Mead

A camp out!! That's what Ava kept calling it! We went out to Lake mead with friends a couple weeks ago. We cooked hot dogs and roasted marshmallows! It was so much fun, and I can't believe we had never been there before. Ava loved playing with Corbin and Tae! The water was a little too tempting for Dresden but he was good to just sit and throw rocks! He also liked sitting in his little camping chair. It was a great time with great company!

Graduation cake pops

Our favorite 4th years are graduating! We are so sad!!:( Klisa, Karrissa, Camille and I got together to make some cute cake pops for them. We found these cute buckets to put them in and fun little graduation cap sprinkles. Seriously we make over a hundred cake pops! It was an all day event but it was still fun. We took them around to them the day they had graduation. It was fun seeing a few of them all dressed in their gowns getting all ready. I can not wait until it's us doing that!

Sienna's blessing

We were lucky enough to be there when Sienna was blessed. It was great seeing more family and hanging out. Ava hated saying goodbye to her cousins! She is still is talking about them. They all played football outside. Jake's brother Alex was so cute with all the kids. And sienna looked adorable in her little lei! Robyn did such cute decorations too! She is so good at that kind of stuff. I was so sad to see our vacation end. We are looking forward to the next break though!

just some fun ones

Grandma watched the kids while Eric and I did some shopping. When we came home Ava was so excited to show us her purple nail polish. Grandma painted her fingers and toes for her. She was so funny walking around with her toes in the air even though they were already dry!She was so happy about them and the fact that grandma did it made it even better!




Dresden LOVES the vacuum. When my mom was cleaning he was so excited that the vacuum was small enough to hold..sort of! He was being so cute and silly. Poor guy had a cold the last few days so he looks a little sleepy!

Pedicures

We had a little girls day while I was in Utah. It was so fun to hang out with my mom and sister with no kids(well except Sienna)Thank you Eric! My amazing mom treated us to a pedicure and then we want to lunch at Olive Garden. I miss them so much already!

Baseball

The other thing Ava loves as much as playing with her cousins is playing with grandma! My mom was so good to help out and play with the kids whenever she could. One day we came up to find them playing baseball! Ava was pretty darn good too. She was so proud of herself. Dresden liked playing too. He just grabbed whatever he could find and start hitting things! Ava loves to do something and then let the other person try it too. She kept wanting grandma to do cart wheels and summer-saults!

Kangaroo Zoo

We were trying to stay out of the rain and SNOW so we went to Kangaroo Zoo one day. Everyone of course had fun and even Dresden got to go down the slides this time. There are mostly Dresden pics because Ava was all over the place with her cousins. It was fun hanging out with everyone while the kids played. After we got Los Hermanos for dinner! My super favorite place. Once just wasn't enough!
