Miss Nora

June 2013

Sometimes Eric feels the need to remind me that I have other children! :) But I can't help but want to  take her picture all the time. She learns and changes so much every day. I am positive I have just as many baby pictures of Ava and Dresden.

 She got really excited about walking with us and that faded pretty fast. She loves to crawl and I'm not sure she'll walk for a really long time.

 I came back from a workout and didn't see Nora in the baby area. After scanning the room I saw her in the walker. I immediately thought she was too little for that...but of course she really wasn't. She was loving it. My baby is growing so fast. I keep seeing her as just a tiny baby!

 Sometimes I just stick her in with Eric for quick rinses. She loves to play and look over the bar!

Love this sweet girl so much. She is getting more and more fun all the time. She is a pretty easy going baby and loves to cuddle. She is for sure still a mama's girl too.

Twinners

I couldn't resist being twinners with Nora when I saw these skirts. Ava's came later because they didn't have her size at the time but we totally wear these to Church. It's kinda my favorite. :)

Omaha with the West's

I can't believe it took us this long to get together but we finally met up with some friends from dental school. Cam and Afton live in Kansas City and since we were both getting ready to be done with school we thought we better make it happen. We met at the Omaha zoo and the kids loved it. Ava and Carolyn warmed right up and were playing so well. Crew and Dresden just hung out in the strollers mostly with the babes.
I felt like we picked right up from dental school. It was so much fun hanging out with them and really made me miss our Las Vegas days. After the zoo we headed to Smash Burger of course. Loved seeing them and hopefully we can make it happen again.

We pretty much have the sweetest friends around! One night after a girls birthday dinner Mikail asked if we wanted to have a Memorial Day BBQ. Of course I said sure and didn't think anything of it. We do a lot with the Roberts and Nehrings and that's how I assumed this would be.

But as we pulled up there were way more than just the Nehrings and Roberts, and Stacy and Mikail were rolling out a sign! I was blown away at how thoughtful it was! All my favorite people were there. Our other friend Jen was leaving as well and people from her ward were there to wish them luck as well. I just love Lincoln so much.

At the time we still had a month but a few people were leaving on vacations in the summer. Mikail and Stacy made it so much fun with a little photo both. There were chalk board signs to write messages and photo props to play with. And tons of food!

This was the third time we have had to say goodbye to people we love. Its just no fun. In fact it's the worst thing ever. But we had a wonderful time and are truly grateful for our friends here. I remember thinking I was so glad we still had a month to play. Thanks to everyone who came!

Life according to the iphone -May

 ^^Dresden's preschool program! He did awesome and had the best ending part of the "Pete the Cat" song!^^

 ^^We had a Mother daughter ice cream social and made rings together. We were suppose to write letters to our mothers. Ava went over with a friend and when I came over she had written a note to Uncle Pete! So sweet. I said she should write one to Angi, Brynli and Drake so she just wrote their names on the card! :)^^

Crawling

MAY 2013

She FINALLY started crawling. She is a pretty chill baby and is in no hurry to do anything. She didn't roll over forever so we figured crawling might take some time. She would always crawl for food though!
