play group

Last week for play group we got together at Becca's house to frost Valentine cookies. The girls had so much fun playing and eating! It's always kinda crazy with 6 little girls but I still look forward to play group days! Thanks for letting us play at your house Becca!

My baby shower

So my awesome friends threw me a shower last Saturday. I seriously have the best friends here. We kept it pretty low key and just went to Olive Garden for lunch. It was so much fun and great to actually hang out and talk with out Ava climbing all over the place. I got lots of great BOY things as well as some needed basics! Thanks SOOOO much everyone! I can't say enough about how lucky I am to have great friends here while I'm away from family.

Meghan, Becca, Dayna, Camille, Me, Karrissa, Christine(baby Weston), Amanda, Melanie, Afton, and then Carolyne and Todd!

It made it very real to see these balloons say It's a Boy, I think I'm still a little bit in denial!

How cute is that frame! I love it!

Thanks Meghan for making those delicious cookies for everyone!

34 Weeks

I swear this dress makes me look bigger but I took a belly shot last Sunday just for fun. I had a Dr. Appt and everything still looks good! I feel like it's still sooo far away but we're getting there. I love my Dr. and the nurse there, they are always so nice to Ava. She loves helping them measure my belly and listen to the heartbeat. She is becoming quit the pro at it!

And in other good news my baby bedding came last week! I love it! It was originally $350 and that was way more than Eric wanted to spend but I was determined and checked again after Christmas and it was 75% off! I could not have been more excited because I hated almost all the other boy bedding out there. I knew I didn't want anything cheesy, just something simple. It's even cuter than it looks online. Now we just need to find a big girl bed for Ava!

Last of the Christmas vacation pics

We did so many fun things in Utah, and I have alot of random pictures still to post. So this is what the rest of our vacation looked like.

Ava in the playroom at my brother's house. She thought it was so cool to see all the characters on the wall. She is pointing to sleeping beauty!

Watching a football game at Rob's house

Ava with Trex(Rob's dog) She loves playing with dogs. It was so cute.

Ava and Aunt Robyn on the way to go bowling.

She had a blast playing with all the food and the kitchen in grandma's playroom. If she was ever missing, this is where we would find her!

making a mess on the floor with some puffs!

This pictures doesn't show it but she LOVED playing with Navy(Robyn and Jake's dog). It was so funny to watch him get close to her and she would just giggle. She misses him so much. We have been drawing pictures of him in church to make her happy.

Ava and daddy getting ready to decorate our little tree upstairs.

One of our twelve days of Christmas presents was this Elefun game for Ava. She had so much fun playing. She would pass out all the nets and get so excited to catch the butterflies!

For some reason she was really into shoes on this trip. This is her putting on a barbie shoe.

Being silly!

Daddy helping Ava bowl on the Wii

Grandpa, Ava and Drake reading a book!

Eric and my Dad playing the Wii the day we opened it!

We took her down to ride her bike some more. This time she wore her new helmet. It looked so cute on her and made her look like a big girl. She is being tricky and trying to ride standing up!

My brother in law Jake always asks why I pay money for a quesadilla at Los Hermanos when I can just make one at home. I told him it wouldn't taste the same so he made me one JUST like the one there! It was seriously so GOOD. I'm so glad he did because now I can make them here in Vegas! Thanks Jake!

Sledding

I'm still on Utah pictures but nothing too exciting is going on here. Eric is back in school and I'm sure having tons of fun! I did just shoot my first wedding on Saturday. It was actually really fun but a lot of work! Ava and I have been at the park almost everyday! Gotta love Vegas weather!

My whole family went sledding New Years Eve. It was so much fun. I didn't really do much in the hope that I wouldn't fall, but I loved watching Ava have fun. She loved going down the hills. She went with her cousins and thought it was the greatest thing ever. Every time someone dragged them up she would say "more, more"! She pretty much sat in one of the sleds the whole time. When it started to get dark we heading in for some hot chocolate!

Christmas Morning

We were so excited for Ava to open her presents this year because she was able to do everything by herself. It was so fun to watch. She started gasping with surprise with every present. It was by far my favorite thing to watch. We set up our video camera to capture every moment and I'm so glad we did. She had a hard time continuing after opening something, she just wanted to play with it. After we opened presents we had breakfast and opened presents from my parents. Ava was spoiled once again and loves all her gifts. We went downstairs for one of them. It's the cutest little 4-wheeler ever. She and Drake were so cute on them. They just pushed the button and went, not caring about running into anything. It was hilarious! We then made the rounds to Eric's family and my Grandmas house. By the end of the day we were all ready for bed! But it was so much fun and great to hang out with some extended family.

Christmas morning! (we were in the toy room after Ava opened her new pots and pans)

How cute are they!?!

My parents got Rock Band and Ava had so much fun playing. She really liked the guitar!
