Halloween Pictures

Eric and I took the kids to a pumpkin patch to try and get a few good ones of them in their costumes. Ava tried so hard to focus when we told her she could go down the slide if she would smile! She even struck some random poses!

practice makes perfect

Ava has been loving gymnastics! It's so good for her and she does so well in class. She is getting better about using her words to tell daddy what she does in class but she always likes showing him better. Her favorites are somersaults and handstands. As she does them we count for her (like the teacher does) and then clap when she's done. Then she started wanting us to do them with her! So now we all take turns doing back-bends, handstands and somersaults! She is so sweet about "cheering" for us. She loves to say "mark, set, go"! I'm sure we look totally silly but we have fun. Ava makes us laugh so hard sometimes!
We were all hanging out in one of few rooms with carpet so I took a few pictures of Ava practicing.

I just included these because Ava took them. She loves looking at pictures after I take them, it was the first time she wanted to take some herself. Not to bad!!

Camille's Birthday lunch

Wednesday was Camille's birthday so we celebrated by having lunch at Cafe Rio and then cupcakes at Karrissa's. Ava enjoyed eating her cupcake and jumping on the tramp with Brinley and McKinley! Happy Birthday Camille!

Lunch at the Dental School

We went to Eric's school with some friends last Monday to have a little picnic with the boys. They get a longer lunch so we could actually hang out for a bit. It was our second time having lunch with him at school. He forgot his phone one day so I took the kids up there to visit and eat. Ava had fun playing on the trees and running up the stairs. We even got to go inside and check out where he works on patients. It was really fun to see some of his dental friends and meet a few professors. I don't think I realize how much our kids look like Eric until I go somewhere with new people. Eric was finishing up some things and we were waiting for him in the hall. At lease two people I didn't know said "oh these must be Eric's kids". :) He spends a-lot of time there so it was nice to see what he does all day.
Camille got a new camera for her birthday so she took a picture for us!

Halloween Cake Pops

I can not get enough of these cake pops! We got together to make some cute Halloween ones. We are enjoying our little projects lately!

favorite toy

Every time we walk in our room Dresden heads straight for daddy's guitar! He loves to smack it and play with the strings. Hopefully he'll want to play when he gets older too! I always liked that Eric knew how to play. Dre just looks so cute with it!
We were all playing in our room the other night. Ava loves to jump on the bed and Dresden loves to watch her! It makes me so happy to see them playing and having fun together. It's not always like this so I had to take some pictures!

Pumpkin Patch

We went to the pumpkin patch with some friends last week. It's such a fun place, with a slide, trampoline, big swings and animals. Ava loved the swings! I think she went like 3 times in a row! It was cute, she had her mouth open like she couldn't believe how much fun she was having! She also like feeding the bunny some straw. She would not go down the slide by herself so she went down with twice with Becca and me. We will for sure be back there soon!

New hat

I got Dresden this hat for his 6 month pictures but it didn't come til a few days after I took them. I decided to try and get a few anyway. He is just way to squirmy and would not look at me. He just grabs at the camera and wants to eat it! So these are the best I could get. I may have to try again later!

Ava's drawings

Ava has been so into drawing lately. She loves to color and draw on her little magna doodle. I thought she did such a good job I had to take a picture. I love how she takes her time and concentrates. I'm not sure what they are but they look like she had something in mind. Over the week I took a few pictures.








We always draw these monsters that are on her jammies. I drew some awesome ones :) and then gave it to her. A few minutes later she showed me this! I was pretty impressed!

Ava has been really into playing in the tent lately. She always wants Dresden to get in with her and he is more than happy too. It's so fun to watch her want to include him in things she does. He really does love being in the tent too. I can throw some toys in there and he will be so happy. Poor thing, he needs some boy toys!!
