Dental School Graduation

Friday was Eric's graduation held at UNLV campus. It was so neat to watch them announce each graduate and celebrate their hard work! I could not be more proud of Dr. Eric Wilbur. That has such a nice ring to it! :) He even graduated with the honor of Cum Laude! Thanks to our families for coming to support Eric. It was been an awesome 4 years and we are excited for the changes that are about to happen for our family. Congratulations Eric, love you!

Proud Wife!

I feel I should point out that Dresden would NOT wear his dress shoes and insisted on his flip flops! I didn't want to fight that battle! :)

I love Dresden in this picture. He is one lucky boy!

Senior Gala

Last Wednesday was the Senior Gala held at the Red Rock in one of their ball rooms. It was so much fun to get all dressed up to celebrate all the Dental students. It felt a little like prom getting so fancy and taking pictures but it's defiantly something we don't get to do very often! Most of the pictures are actually in focus. I always feel bad handing people my big camera. Lucky for us my mom and sister were in town so they were nice enough to watch the kids for us. It was great visiting with other students we don't get to see that often. The dinner was wonderful and the dessert was interesting! After dinner they started the award ceremony.

I love these girls!

Eric was awarded the Student Achievement award in Endodontics from the American Association of Endodontists! Dr. Lemon announced that Eric has done the most endo procedures at UNLV and also preformed the first endo surgery's ever done at UNLV! I am so proud of all his hard work. He was very focused on all things endo. There were alot of other awards given and then we got to talk with friends and dance a little. It's hard to believe the four years are over. We are REALLY going to miss all the wonderful friends we have made out here as we all go our separate ways.

Mother's Day

I had a wonderful Mother's Day this year! I am so lucky to have my two beautiful kiddo's even if they are naughty sometimes! I am totally lame and forgot to take pictures. But Ava was so excited to bring home my Mother's day present from school. She wanted me to open it Thursday! I said I wanted to wait and it was the first thing she said when I woke up that morning. She had decorating a pot and there were seeds for a flower in it. I was totally spoiled by Eric and got to do almost nothing all day! He made all the meals, put the kids down, and cleaned alot of the house! And he got my a gift certificate for a pedicure! It was a great day! I love my little family and I love being a mom!

Red Rock hike

We went out the Red Rock with our friends the Nelson's last week. It was so fun to get outside and enjoy the nice weather. Ava has been asking to hiking for a long time. We surprised her and picked her up from school then headed out. Dresden was so happy to be outside and he had to do everything by himself! Ava and Brinley had fun climbing on all the "BIG" rocks. Thanks for inviting us Becca and Ryan!

Mr. Independent climbing by himself.

We made it to the waterfall. It was small but the kids thought is was pretty cool.

There were some beautiful flowers near the waterfall!

Daddy giving Dresden a hand so he could climb like the big girls!
The girls did awesome and were pretty proud of themselves climbing the rocks!

Cycle fundraiser

Our YMCA had a cycle fundraiser to raise money for new equipment a couple weeks ago. We donated money and they had a 4 hour cycle ride planned. Eric and I decided to split the ride. Even two hours on a bike that's not going any where is plenty! :)We had so much fun. I have meet some great people at the gym. After the ride Ken and Tanja invited everyone over for a little pot luck and swimming. They are some of the nicest people I have ever met and they have an amazing house! It was fun to hang out and the kids had a blast swimming and playing in the sandbox with all the other kids.

These were the cycle instructors.

Dresden was being so brave and jumping off the side all by himself!

Kylie's birthday party

We were invited to a cute little popcorn party at the park for Kylie's 3rd birthday. The decorations were so cute and the cake not only looked awesome but was also delicious! The kids even got to have their faces painted. Ava got a little butterfly and Dresden got Iron Man. I was so surprised at how well Dresden sat still for Joe. It was so funny watching him. He will do just about anything for Iron Man. He talked about his "Iron Man" face for a few days after too. Thanks for the party Winwards.

Dresden being Iron Man and then looking in Eric's sunglasses to see himself!

Easter cookies

We got together with friends and make some cute cookies for Easter! Ava decided to have more sprinkles than actual cookie but they sure had fun cutting them out and frosting them. After making cookies they played on the tramp with the sprinkler. Thank you Winwards for having a backyard! They LOVED it. So funny to watch them. We love hanging out with friends.

Lots of sprinkles!!
He really did have fun but he looks so bored in this picture!

Lucky for Ava McKinley let her borrow a swim suit! Poor Dresden just had to go in his diaper. I'm pretty sure he didn't care though.
