It was kind of hard not having a camera for so long but also nice to just be able to grab quick shots with the iphone. I was looking at Eric's phone and realized how many pictures I never posted on here. So these are some of the things we've been up to!
Dresden wasn't feeling well one Saturday so Eric took Ava on a daddy daughter date! She was in heaven being by herself with daddy. They went to the Children's Museum and played together. She loves walking on crutches. Silly girl!
One Saturday as we were leaving the YMCA we let Ava try and climb. She was so excited and wants to do it every time we go now.
Dresden's first experience with golf! Eric took him with some other friends and he had a blast. He was the only kid and thought he was so grown up. It's something he still talks about. He absolutely loves his daddy and spending boy time together. Such a fun memory.
One day we painted fish. Ava wanted me to take a picture!
Eric's school had a fancy Surgical Specialties dinner held at the Nebraska Alumni Center the end of June. It was fun to dress up and hang out with friends.

Our first slip-n-slide! It took them awhile to get the hang of it but they have lots of fun now!
They don't do a graduation after the Residency just a nice dinner with the faculty, residents and graduating residents. Which is kind of lame after two years of hard work but it was a fun night and now Eric is one year closer to being done! He was also made the Chief Resident!
After running some errands Dresden kept pulling on his pants. I looked down and noticed he had shoved A Lot of cars in his pocket. I think there were at least 8 in one pocket. He is such a funny boy about his cars. They pretty much go every where with him!
After a swim lesson. We loved having swim lessons with all our friends!

I just love this picture Ava drew of our family. I love Dresden and daddy's mohawks, and shorts. And the red circle on my tummy is the baby. She even included Dresden's cast. But the best is that she gave herself a crown and a puppy!

If this summer consisted of anything it was play dates! Every time the girls saw each other at the gym they would beg for a play date. Even Dresden and Talmage wanted in on it. So Stacy and I would just rotate, she would take the boys and I would take the girls or vise versa. It worked out great and they always had so much fun. This was a "late night" instead of a sleepover. They got to stay up late and watch a movie and eat popcorn. Eric and I and Stacy and Josh just played games and chatted. It was a fun night!
We have started cracking down on the kids doing chores around here! :) I thought Dresden looked cute putting the silverware away in his underwear! Ava did a great job sweeping too!
Our YMCA does an "Arctic Blast" night where they give out free snow cones. We went with some friends but since Dresden still had his cast on Eric took him golfing again. It was so fun spending time with just Ava and Dresden of course had a blast golfing!
