Lincoln Children's Zoo

We decided to go to the children's Zoo last Saturday. We heard it was pretty fun considering it was a small zoo. I'm so glad we did because the kids loved it! There were some really fun animals to see. Ava was going 90 miles a minute wanting to see everything and Dresden was just enjoying the animals. Dresden had fun feeding the goats. It took Ava awhile to warm up to the idea but she did try it once. We took a little lunch and enjoyed the day together. We got a couple free train passes because we bought a pass so we took a ride around the zoo. Dresden was just happy to be on a train "like Thomas"! I'm pretty sure Ava's favorite was the butterflies. And Dresden loved the bugs and lizards.

The butterfly area was so cool. They let you put nectar on your finger an the butterfly would come right to it. Ava thought it was pretty neat!
