Patriots

Dresden got the most adorable little sweat suit from Eric's brother that lives in Massachusetts. It's of course Eric's favorite present that Dresden got because the Patriots are his favorite team. His Dad is from there and he has always loved them. On Sunday they were playing so we put Dre in his sweat suit to help daddy cheer. It is the first of many games I'm sure they will watch together. I love this little guy! I just want to squeeze him he is just so warm and cozy in it!

Looks like maybe he'll be a quarterback or the kicker! :)

The little stinker wouldn't look at me so these are the best I could get!

Baptism

My sweet little nephew was baptized while we were in Utah. I'm so glad we were able to see it, especially Ava. She loves Teigun and it was fun for her to see a baptism. He is the oldest grand kid and such a sweetheart. My brother Russ baptized him and my mom gave a talk on the Holy Ghost. After we all went to their house for ice cream and treats. My sister-in-law Camille had the cutest set up. She put together this cute little "candy bar". Each container had it's own vinyl lettering. It was so yummy! After we played a little Rock Band together. It was the day before we left so I'm glad we got to hang out with everyone.

Sledding

On New Year's Day we went sledding with my family. It's definitely one of the things I look forward to doing when we go to Utah. This year was even better than last because I wasn't pregnant this time. Ava was so patient and waited to go down with who ever would take her. She loved every minute of it. She could have stayed out there all day! And even though it was a little cold Dresden was just happy to be outside.

Ava being a sweet big sister!

Utah friends

We had our annual Thanksgiving point dinner with our friends Brock and Nicole. We have been doing it almost since we moved out here. They were away at Law School so we would meet up when we were both in town. I'm so jealous that they are done now and living in Utah! It's always fun hanging out and letting the girls run around together. Ava and Lily are only 6 weeks apart. I didn't get a picture of the babies but Dresden and Paisley are only 2 weeks apart. The girls are so funny, they seriously just run! That's why we like Thanksgiving point cafe! I took a couple pictures this time and then remembered I had taken some another time. Turns out they were from almost a year ago. They both look so young! Thanks guys we look forward to the next one! :)

Bowling

We had our annual bowling for bucks this year! We brought all the kids this time and it was so fun! I think Ava had the most fun though. She was loving rolling the ball down and hearing all her cousins shouting her name! It was so cute. I'm proud to say that Eric and I were the winners of bowling!! Only second in the money part but we were very happy with ours. My dad even gave the kids all $5. Ava was so happy about it and wanted to put it in her pocket right away. After we went to sub zero. It's such a fun place and I love their ice cream! We had a blast!

she was so cute after her ball hit the pins, jumping around and dancing!

All the kids lined up so my brother Rob could throw them up to land on the luv sac!

Just some fun ones

Ava had so much fun playing with all the new toys and her cousins after Christmas. These are just some of the random ones! Please ignore the fact that we are all pasty right now! It's about 60 degree's here now so we should be tan in no time! :)

Ava loved her new talking baby... and all her accessories!

playing tic-tac-toe with the boys while we played games!

Dresden tackling Ava

She loves magna doodles! I love that she always draws pictures of our little family. We asked her about this one and she said the extra people were grandma and grandpa. She is still drawing them in her pictures even though we are home!

We were all loving the little oranges... especially Dresden

painting with her new paints. She loved them. I love seeing her get so happy about little things like that!

Some how she convinced Tyson to push her around in the baby stroller!

Christmas Day

We had the best Christmas this year! I was so excited to watch Ava open presents because she is getting older and was starting to understand it, and super excited to watch Dresden open them because it was his first Christmas! We started out having our own little Christmas with the kids up in my parents loft. The kids were so cute about the presents. I loved all Ava's surprised faces! Dresden was so happy with the paper and he just watched Ava alot. Ava was so happy with her new toys and wanted to open them ALL. We tried to only let her open a few so we could still fit everything in car. After we got done my parents came up to check everything out. Ava was pretty excited to show them everything, and she would only pose cute for grandma's pictures! What!? She's tired of me taking pictures!!?? Crazy!

Running to see if Santa came! Ava was so cute on the way up she grabbed Dresden's hand and said "mon baby"

Love that face!

This is the first thing she opened! And she loves it! This is her one time letting me take a picture!

Our cute little family

We got ready, let Dresden take a nap and headed to Eric's parents. It was fun seeing his family and Ava liked playing with "the boys". We hung out there for awhile and then went back to my parents for their Christmas. I love being with my whole family! We opened the presents from each other first. I love that we open them one at a time so we can all see what everyone gets. Then is was the kids turn. There is so many of them and they are all getting so old we just had them open them a present all at the same time. Ava and Dresden were so spoiled and I wondered why we (or Santa) even gave them anything!!:) She was so sweet and always said "sank you". Dresden was so happy about everything he got but still wanted to play with whatever Ava had. She is still at the age where everything is exciting and she would have been happy with only a couple presents. Eric and I got great presents, our big present this year was a new video camera! It's so cute, we love it. It's all on a hard drive so we don't have to worry about tapes or cd's. On top of all the presents my amazing mom put together a twelve days of Christmas bog again this year! Ava loves opening a present every day. She put so much work into them and they are all about the true meaning of Christmas!
After presents we ate dinner and hung out for a bit. We were all pretty tired. After everyone left Dresden got his second wind and was loving his hew tonka push toy! He was being so funny, we were all just watching him for almost a half hour. I can't wait for next year!!

Drake showing Dresden his new football gloves!

Ava got a cute leotard, tutu, and leggings! She really wanted to put it all on. I didn't want to take her clothes off so I just put them on top! She loved it, she danced around and loved being the center of attention!
Drake is so adorable in his football stuff!

She thought this was so cool. Too bad she couldn't open it til we got home.

Yeah... BOY toys! He loved them and knew just what to do!

Me, Dresden, Angi, Pheebe, and Robyn

We do this hat thing every year! Don't we look cute!?

He was so funny and got so mad when he couldn't go any further. He is getting so close to walking. He has taken like 5 or 6 steps so far. It's hard to believe Ava had already been walking for a month at this age. I already miss having all that carpet for him to walk on! :)
