just pictures

So I pretty much suck at blogging! It's just not one of those things on my to-do list every day. I love having pictures on here but I have a hard time keeping it in order so I just don't post. Anyway I decided that it's ok not to be in order or have a long explanation of everything so I'm just posting whatever when ever! It will all be in one book! So here are just some pictures of my little kiddo's! They are both getting so big!

She will only wear a hat when she does it all by herself! I think she looks cute though.

I often come back to a room with Ava playing with Dresden or doing funny things to him. It's nice now I can usually leave them alone together, when he was little I would come back and she would be sitting or laying on him.
She put this on him and said "hat" and then thought it was so funny!

Ava is so sweet to share her toys. She just piles them on him and he loves it! She doesn't always share but she is good about giving him a different toy. We started putting Dresden in the excersaucer and he seems to like it. It's so nice for him to stand up and play!

My new favorite picture!! We got him half ready for church and then put him down for a little nap. I love his little tie and his little belly!

Bear Lake 09

We had a blast at Bear lake this year! It just gets better and better! It's been my favorite vacation since I was little. We even have a little video of Eric and I there as kids. The son of my parents friends brought him with them. We were totally playing baseball on the beach and hanging out in the water. Of course then we thought boys were gross and I'm sure he wanted nothing to do with me! I still love it though.

Ava had so much fun with her cousins. They don't get to see her that often so they LOVE playing with her. A couple times When a new cousin came I heard them say they were mad because they were going to "hog" Ava! It was so cute. They really take such good care of her. We were there for one night with out Eric and we were so excited to finally see him. Poor guy had to drive almost 9 hours. We pretty much spend the whole day in our suits going from the lake to the pool and to the cabin for naps. We even got a boat. It was so fun, Ava loved driving it. It's such a nice relaxing vacation and I can't wait to go again in August. There are so many pictures, my nice camera died and I left my charger at my mom's so I had to use my moms camera. I was so sad but I wasn't that thrilled with the idea of taking my camera down to the lake with all the sand anyway.

Lehi Roundup week

We just got back from an almost two week vacation in Utah. My mom came out here a few days before and then she flew out with me and the kids. It was quite the ride with a TON of luggage but we made it. The kids did pretty good on the plane, Ava watched a movie and Dresden slept for most of it! I'm so glad my mom was there to help! Eric had to stay home for school so he missed out on all the fun, for at least the first part anyway. I love the rodeo week and I knew Ava would love it too. She had a blast hanging out with her cousins, especially Teigun, who is almost 7 years old. She just kept saying "T' every time we were going somewhere. We go to all three parades and then the Rodeo on Saturday night. It was fun seeing all my cousins there too.

I was so nervous about taking care of both kids but my mom was a HUGE help! She took them for walks in the morning so I could sleep in (one time I slept til 11!) she watched them for all three of my photo sessions, we were spoiled for sure! Thanks so much mom! Night time was rough, Dresden was waking up two or three times and Ava was waking up in the middle of the night. Eric always gets her and takes her back so it was just one more time I had to wake up. I finally just let her sleep with me! These are the pics from the first part of our vacation.

We went the the carnival thing at the park after. Ava was pretty good at the climbing parts. They had lots of blow up toys and slides.
The same smile I get every time I ask her to smile! She had fun at the Rodeo, she loved the horses and the motorcycle riders. It was rough keeping her still though, she wanted to stand on the bleachers all by herself with the big kids.

4 months

I can't believe he is already 4 months!Well he was on the 23rd. I love them all but 4months is for sure one of my super favorite ages! He had his check up a couple days ago and these are his stats: Weight: 15lbs 4oz Height: 24 1/2 inches
He is getting so big and I love his chubby little thighs, and his soft pasty skin! I can't believe he is 15 pounds already! Here are some things about our sweet little Dresden!

-He laughs at least once a day now. It's so dang cute. He thinks Ava is pretty funny.
-He wakes up one to two times a night still... on a good day
-He loves to play with and eat his feet, which is by far the cutest thing he does!
-can roll over from his tummy to his back
-gives the best squeezes ever, I swear he is really hugging me!
-still is a loud eater
-is a very light sleeper
-loves his bath
-loves to play with toys and put everything in his mouth. Seriously already!?!
-sucks on his hands almost all day long
-doesn't mind when Ava gets in his face and climbs all over him

We think he is the sweetest most adorable baby boy ever! Happy 4 month Dresden! We love you!
