One last hoo-rah

Sad day! Eric went back to school today and Ava and I are already bored! It was so nice having him home all day. We had so much fun the last three weeks. We did a little shopping, went swimming, watched movies and of course ate out alot! It was a great vacation with our friends. On Saturday we decided we should do one last fun thing before the boys went back to school. We had a BBQ at a park by our house. It's such a fun park too. There is a little water area, lots of toys and slides, a sand volleyball area, tons of grass, and a dog park next to it. Ava and Mckinley loved when all the people had to walk by us with their dogs. I happened to have my nice camera so I ended up taking TONS of pictures. We all had so much fun!

Happy Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day to all you cute mom's! I can't believe it's my second Mother's day. I absolutely love being a mom! And I also think I HAVE the best mom. I'm sad I'm not able to see her today but luckily she is coming out here on Wednesday. I feel so lucky to have such a supportive mom, she does so much for me and my family. She is a great example and is always asking what she can do to help out. I hope I can be as good as of a mom to Ava as my mom is to me!

Surprisingly I don't have many pictures of me and my mom now (she hates getting having her picture taken) so I just found some random ones from when I was little! Happy Mother's Day Mom! Love ya!!

I am so loving our new place! It's not quite finished yet but when it is I will post some pictures! It's so nice to have our own little back yard for Ava to play. Right now it's full of rocks but we are thinking about putting grass in. The majority of people out here just have rocks, but there are some that put in grass or turf. I would for sure want real grass. So hopefully we will have grass soon. I don't think Ava minds the rocks she loves to carry them around and bring them in the house...and put them in her mouth. And some other great news...I got my new lens!!! Whoo-hoo!! I love it. I'm so excited to start taking more pictures. Ava and I were playing outside so I just took a few random pics of her in our back yard. One of these days she might actually look at me when I take her picture. I am going to have to come up with some tricks for that to happen!

Flashback Friday

So I've seen this on a few other blogs and thought it would be fun to do every once in a while. I was looking through some old pictures when I was picking out some to put in Ava's new room. Her hair is getting longer and that wasn't always the case! She was a baldy for a long time! So I'm posting some from not too long ago to show how bald she actually was. So there may be hope for the bald babes out there!

Week in review

My sister informed me that I have been slacking on the blog! We have been so busy having fun and moving but here is a little of all the super exciting things we have been up to! It's been so nice having Eric home from school. Every morning all the guys (Dane, Joe, and Jarom) have gone to the gym at 7am! Camille and I decided we should go to! We have to go later so Ava can go to the day care but it's been so nice to have someone to go with.
We got the key to our town home on Monday. We were so excited to look around again and decide on our paint colors. This is the first time we have been able to paint something we are renting! I can't believe this is our 6th time moving since we've been married! And this will be the longest we have stayed in one place! We will be here for 3 years! Our friends came over to check it out later that day. Ava loves playing with McKinley! They are best buddies most the time. They were having so much fun playing in the back yard with all the rocks. McKiniley wanted to hold hands and it was the cutest thing ever! Ava loves to follow McKinley around and watch her. I'm so glad she has a cute little friend to play with.

We have been busy packing and painting! Thanks to the guys we got it done pretty fast. Thanks everyone! Our house is a disaster right now but we hope to get the rest over today! Tonight will be our first night in the new place! Here is a picture of Eric priming the dining room. I'll take some more of the whole thing today!
We have been running alot of errands to so we have to eat in the car sometimes! We got some Del Taco on Saturday while we were out. Our little miss independent doesn't want me to feed it to her she wants to hold the whole thing. And because I'm a sucker and we were in a hurry I let her hold the whole burrito. She actually didn't do to bad! It was just funny to see her eating this giant thing!



We went to the Bass pro shop with our friends on Tuesday! Ava enjoyed looking at the fish and running around with McKinley. Eric had fun looking at the guns! After we ate at In-N-Out Burger. Yum!! It's been so nice to hang out with our friends almost everyday!

Last night we all went to the YMCA to go swimming! It was like 8pm but we wanted to take a break from packing! Ava loves the pool! After we went to the Golden Spoon for some frozen yogurt! It was so good! We have been having so much fun. I'm going to be really sad when Eric has to go back to school! Well Eric is yelling at me to start packing so I'll post some more later!

Finally over!

Yeah we made it! Finals are over! I should say Eric made it but I am almost as happy about it as he is. He finished his last final on Friday! He did so good and we are so proud of him! He studied so much this last week.
Camille and I wanted to do something nice for our hubbies, so we got them gift certificates to go golfing! Then we were just bored so we decided to be creative and make them little treats! We found these cute little golf mugs and put the certificate and some candy in them. I wanted to write him a little note so I got a small poster board so Ava could help me. I painted her hands and feet and she helped me decorate it! :0) Which is why it looks as fantastic as it does! It was fun to pass the time and I think the guys liked it! We all went home to take a much needed nap after. Then later that night we all got together to eat pizza and hang out! We had lots of fun. We are so excited about the next 3 weeks!
