Swimming

It has been so hot here lately! I'm still behind, this actually happened a few weeks ago, but we got together with our friends to celebrate some Birthday's. We had a little picnic and played in the pool. Ava actually wanted to get in the tube,(she didn't last year) which is nice for me when I have to check on Dresden. Now if only I could get her to wear her water wings I wouldn't have to worry so much! We had tons of fun and are looking forward to many more days at the pool!

Dresden looked so cute (thanks for the suit mom) I tried to get a picture before we left. Ava loves to put her arm around him, I never have to ask her! She is so funny with him!

Mother's Day

I know this is super late but I have to say Happy Mother's Day to my amazing mom! I can't say enough of how great she is and what an example she is to me! She is by far the most selfless person I have ever known. She was just here a couple days ago helping me while Eric studies. It was so much fun having her here and I'm so blessed to be her daughter! Love you mom!

I had such a great Mother's Day! Eric was so good to me and did everything all day long! It was so nice to just relax. He made me breakfast, lunch, and dinner and helped so much with the kids. I also got a sweet new camera bag! I loved waking up to him and Ava making breakfast and coloring pictures for me. I think Mother's Day should be once a month! I love being a mom to my two beautiful kids!

Gateway museum

While we were in Utah we went to this little children's museum at the Gateway mall. Ava had a blast with her cousins. It had all these different area's for the kids to play. I think Ava liked the ball area the best. She could have played there all day. Thanks for the fun time guys!

Dresden's Blessing

We blessed Dresden while we were in Utah a couple weeks ago. It was so nice to have all our family there. Eric did such an awesome job. I always love hearing him do things like that. After we had a delicious breakfast with all our family and friends. Thanks to everyone who came and brought food!
I was so excited to get a picture of all four of us. It's actually the first one since Dresden was born!

Utah trip: Kangaroo Zoo

We went to Utah for Eric's spring break a few weeks ago. It was a long drive but the kids did pretty good. Although there are those restless moments with Ava where she starts kicking the back of my seat and thinks it's hilarious! Dresden pretty much slept the whole way there besides the diaper changes and stretching.
We had so much fun playing with our families! We drove straight from Vegas to Kangaroo Zoo to celebrate my niece and nephew's birthdays. Ava loved it, especially after being couped up in the car for 6 hours. She loves being with her cousins. It's just been the last couple of visits that she has been so obsessed with playing with them. It's so fun to see her interact more and want to play with them. They are so good to her too.

One night Teigun, Tyson, and Taige were sleeping over and Ava was LOVING it. They went outside and we heard Ava laughing hysterically. I grabbed my camera and had to check it out. They were just running around, dancing, and being crazy! The boys are so sweet with her and love to do things that make her laugh. I love hearing her little laugh too!

Two Months

So he actually had his two month appointment before we left for Utah. (One day I may get caught up on this!) Here are(were) his stats: Weight- 12lbs 9oz Height 22 1/2 inches

It was so sad to see him get all his shots. He has the cutest little frowny face though. He did great and it was nice hanging out just me and him. Karrissa was watching Ava(thank you). He also started smiling at 7 weeks and it's the cutest thing ever! He's not quite the easy baby that Ava was but we love him so much. I can't get enough of his squishy little checks and legs!

The night before we were hanging out with friends while the boys studied and got these pictures. I'm sad to say thy are the closest to his two month mark. I was kind of slacking in the picture taking department.
