Dresden at 2

Dresden is crazy wild right now! He does have a sweet calm side though. It's hard to believe he's two, it just went by so fast. It seems like he learns something new everyday. He is saying all kinds of new words and is finally putting more words together. It was progressing in spurts and he just had a huge one. He is putting 4 or 5 words together now. He says the funniest things too!

These are the things I think of when I think about Dresden..
-He is a huge copy cat. He loves to say and do EVERYTHING Ava does. It really makes me laugh every time I see it. He will literally look at her and position himself to be the exact same as her. She says something, he immediately tries to say the same thing. He looks up to her so much!
-He loves to run. And he is FAST! If there is even the slightest open space he is off and running.
-He loves making Iron Man shooting noises. Even his nursery teachers tell me he does them in there.
-He is a bit aggressive! :) uhh is that normal???? He like punches and hiy-yah's(that's what he calls kicking) all the time...sometimes weather there is someone there or not!
-He loves cereal. He has been known to eat three bowls in the morning. And sometimes wants it for dinner.
-He loves to read books. He sits down and pretends to read, it's so cute. We always read at least three books at night and for naps.
-He is so good at remembering to say meal prayers! It's for sure my favorite thing about him. He folds his little arms and bows his head, and every so slightly looks up every once in awhile. He says something we can't understand then says, church, iron man, family, food, and then really loud.. AMEN!
-he loves to play duck,duck, goose and hide and seek. But he will only come out if Ava finds him.
-He is getting so good at recognizing his colors. Lately he starts clapping after answering when I ask what color something is.
He loves to ride his "bike". He points at it and says "my bike...cool!"
-He is good at sharing...most the time. I love it when he is willing to give up something for Ava. So sweet.
-He still sleeps with with his binky and takes naps with it. We recently reduced him from four binkies to one though! :)
-When he gives us a bite of something he always says, "is good?" It's so cute cause you can tell by the way he says it that he is trying to make it sound like a question. And he has this adorable smile and raised eye brows when he says it!
-he is getting better at saying sorry all by himself when someone says "ouch".

We had his 2 year check up and these are his stats.

Dresden, you are the sweetest boy and you make us laugh everyday! You are a great son and sweetest little brother and we LOVE you so much!!

The only reason he was even looking in my direction was because Eric was behind me with candy!
Sometimes it's not worth the fight and we just let him sleep in is spider man costume. Although he calls it Iron Man! He looks so sweet when he's sleeping! I love him!
