Bunny cupcakes

We did so many fun things last week! Bunny cupcakes was one. We planned on doing them at the park but the wind was out of control so we moved the party to Becca's house! Ava loved frosting her cupcake, and Dresden loved eating his! We had a great time hanging out with our wonderful friends!

Dresden one year pics

I'm interrupting the Easter posts to finally get these up. So technically he is 13 months but that's close enough I guess! I knew trying to get a full session would not work with Dresden because he can't hold still for more than 2 seconds but I wanted just a couple that looked decent. We are having family pictures taken in about a month so I wasn't too worried about these. I knew he wouldn't have trouble sitting still for the cake smash ones though! :) For some reason he had his tongue out almost the whole time!! So there are not many but they are still HIM!

Not sure what he's doing in this one but he does it all the time! Apperently he thinks he's pretty tough! :)

Happy Birthday Eric

My super amazing husband turned 28 on March 29th! He left for the gym at 5:30 and didn't get home from school til 5! I was so sad I felt like I didn't see him that long. But we did have a few people over for cake and ice cream! It was great to hang out and the ice cream cake was so yummy! Thanks for coming guys!

Earlier I let the kids help me make a happy birthday poster for him. Ava could not have been happier! She was really getting into it. I forgot to take pictures when everyone was here but I did get a few later! He brought the kids home new toothbrushes! It was a random time to take pictures but I wanted a few of him on his actual birthday!Eric, you are an awesome husband and daddy and we appreciate all you do! We love you!!

Easter egg hunt

We had our third annual Easter egg hunt on Monday. It's hard to believe that Ava was Dresden's age during the very first one! It has been so windy here but the kids still had fun. We had a little picnic first and then let the kids look for eggs. It was fun seeing some of the other dental wives we don't see that often. Ava wasn't into how many egg she could find but what was in the eggs that she did find! And Dresden was so dang cute with his basket. He was just happy to be there! He loved getting the eggs and of course the candy. It was so fun to watch BOTH my kiddo's look for eggs. As much fun as the hunt was Ava was very ready to just play on the toys.

Happy Easter

Since Easter falls over Conference we got to wear our Easter clothes last Sunday. I had big plans to make Dresden and Eric matching ties but I waited to to long and only finished Dresden's. I love it though and can't wait to finish Eric's.(I even got a sewing machine!) I did finish Ava's bow the night before. I am loving the felt bows lately. It's always hard to get either of them to hold still for long when we are taking pictures but I think they look so cute! It was a fun little photo shoot in the back yard!


We put the camera down on the grill so it's a funny angle but at least we got one family one!

Push ups

So since Ava doesn't have school on Friday's she get to watch me do work out video's in the morning. She asked me where I was going when I put my shoes on. I told her I was going to exercise and she immediately wanted to do the same. So I put her running shoes on. She was so cute trying to do jumping jacks and push ups! She also wanted my weights so I gave her the two Wii remotes. It was so fun watching her copy me. She was really paying attention! She eventually got tired and bored and wanted to crawl through my legs during the jumping jacks! Her push ups were so cute! I was doing "girl" push ups and she was crossing at the knee instead of the ankle! So funny!


She said she was "too tired"!
