Dresden 6 month pictures

Well technically he just turned 7 months by the time I took these but I keep calling them his 6 months pics. He is pretty hard to get a smile out of unless of course it's Ava but we managed to get a few. I couldn't get much eye contact either! I wanted to keep it simple and just get a few great shots. I decided to try and get a few of Ava since I was at it already. She actually likes the camera so it was fun!
I LOVE them, he looks like such a big boy! Some of them are just totally HIM! He has such a cute little somber face and his dimple makes him looks so sweet. Sorry there are SO many but I couldn't help myself, he's just to handsome!

How cute is that sad face!

Wouldn't be right not to get one of him doing what he loves!

Dresden and Madisyn

After we made the cupcake pops the boys brought the babies over. Dresden and Madisyn are so funny together. They just giggle and grab at each other. I think Dresden did quite well for his first girlfriend huh! HAHA :) She is such a cutie!

I love this one! I think he is irresistible too Madisyn! :)

First gymnastics class

Ava had her first gymnastics class a couple weeks ago. I think I may have been a bit more excited than she was! A couple days before we took her to pick out a leotard. She was so excited she kept pulling the most random ones out. I had to narrow it down to 4 cute ones and then we tired them all on. There were two really cute ones so we let Ava have the final say! She looks so adorable in it. The first class was so fun. She liked running around to music with these wand things and playing on the uneven bars. She had a hard time following directions and not getting distracted by all the fun things in the room. It was hard for her to wait her turn. I was a little nervous because she is the youngest in the class. But we talked about everything with her and the second class went MUCH better! She was so good. I was so proud of her. She listened and followed everything the teacher said. I LOVE watching her in there, I just think she looks so cute!

Photobucket

The pictures aren't the best because I'm shooting through the glass.

Ava, Brinley, and Carolyne

This is during the first class on the uneven bars. No need to turn the sound on you can't hear them only us! :)

This was during the second class. I knew she would love the balance beam(we practice at home). She was so cute, not afraid at all. But at the end she kinda jumped off and rolled her little ankle. I felt so bad. She seemed to be ok after a minute though.

Last of the Utah pics

We had the best time in Utah. We are always so sad to leave. These are just some of the random pictures during our trip!

Ava has been really loving this animal. I brought it in after it had been outside for a while and she was so happy, squeezing it and snuggling up. We asked what it's name was one time and she said "cat". So that's what we call it. I don't know why we couldn't get her attached to more of a girly stuffed animal! :)

Dresden LOVES his Ava! If she pays attention to him he is crazy happy!

We took Ava to see Ice Age three. She loved it. We found the animals at a Walgreen's and she was so excited to take them in. She has an Ice Age coloring book and every page is colored. She asks to watch it all the time.

Her hair is getting so long. I just thought it looked cute in a pony tail!

Some of the cousins and the dino museum.
Having a BBQ at my sister's house. Ava was really into throwing Navy all his dog toys.

Checking teeth

Ava was going around sticking one of Eric's little dental mirrors in everyone's mouth one day. She has seen Eric do it one too many times. She kept saying "say ahhhh". It's funny to watch her pick up on things like that.

St George

Our last stop in Utah was St. George with our friends. We stayed at the Nelsons place and went boating at Sand Hollow. It was a BLAST! We had so much fun playing with everyone. We had a BBQ the first night and then let the kids swim in the pool. Ava all of a sudden wanted her floaties on and she did so awesome once she figured out she was fine with out Eric! She thought is was so cool to swim by herself. We were so proud of her. It was all she wanted to do the rest of the trip. The next day we got up, made breakfast, and heading to the lake. We went wake boarding, which Eric and I need some serious practice with! It's was such a beautiful lake. We even did the banana boat. The first trip Ava fell asleep. Then all the girls went! We were laughing so hard, it was super fun! The boys went after us and they were even funnier! A little storm ended our time out there early so we packed up and headed home. We went to Texas Roadhouse for dinner and then went home, ate too many cookies and played imagine if! The next morning the girls did a little shopping while the guys watched the kids! Sooo nice! It was a great way to end the break. Thanks Nelsons, we had the best time! This is totally a picture overload but this is nothing compared to how many pictures we actually took!
