Fun with cousins

One night Teigun, Tyson, and Taige were sleeping over and Ava was LOVING it. They went outside and we heard Ava laughing hysterically. I grabbed my camera and had to check it out. They were just running around, dancing, and being crazy! The boys are so sweet with her and love to do things that make her laugh. I love hearing her little laugh too!

Two Months

So he actually had his two month appointment before we left for Utah. (One day I may get caught up on this!) Here are(were) his stats: Weight- 12lbs 9oz Height 22 1/2 inches

It was so sad to see him get all his shots. He has the cutest little frowny face though. He did great and it was nice hanging out just me and him. Karrissa was watching Ava(thank you). He also started smiling at 7 weeks and it's the cutest thing ever! He's not quite the easy baby that Ava was but we love him so much. I can't get enough of his squishy little checks and legs!

The night before we were hanging out with friends while the boys studied and got these pictures. I'm sad to say thy are the closest to his two month mark. I was kind of slacking in the picture taking department.

Tinker bell swim suit

My mom gave Ava this Tinker Bell swim suit for Easter. I put it on her so grandma could see pictures and she loved it. She is so funny. She loves to show off new clothes, she even runs to the mirror to check herself out. And we got to use it a few days later when we went swimming with some friends. It was so nice to be outside again. Ava loved it. We are trying to get her used to water wings right now, but they didn't last very long this time. She loves the water but she also had fun running all over the place with McKinley!

Bath time

Every time I say it's time to give Dresden a bath, Ava pushes a chair over to the counter where his tub is and climbs up. She is such a good helper and loves to pour the water on him. I think it's so sweet. Dresden loves his bath, which is a big change from when he was first born. He is so chill and smiles almost the whole time. These pictures are a couple weeks old but I'm just going in order. We just got back from Utah so I have ALOT of pictures to go through!

Easter Morning

We had a great Easter! It was so fun to see TWO Easter baskets this year! Ava and Dresden got lots of fun things from the Easter bunny. I love watching Ava get new presents, she is always genuinely surprised and happy about them!


She saw the Tinkerbell book and pulled it out so fast I didn't get a picture of them both just sitting there. I love that Dresden is just chillin in the background!

Ava in her new Easter dress! This was the best I could get out of her. And we were already so late for church we didn't get a family picture. :( But later we got these...

Church was great. It was our first time back as a family of four and I'm so glad in was on Easter! Ava did awesome in nursery and I was so excited to see her pictures of Jesus and the Tomb. I feel like she is becoming such a big girl. After Church we colored some eggs. Ava seemed to really enjoy it!

Easter egg hunt

On Friday we got together with some friends to have an Easter egg hunt at the park. We had a little picnic first and then all the kids looked for eggs. Ava did pretty good at first and then when she had about 5 eggs she decided it was time to just open them and start eating!

Harpers brought their wagon and the kids had sooooo much fun pushing it down the hill. Ava was obsessed with it. She was having so much fun.
