Valentine's

I LOVE Valentine's day! It's just a fun holiday. I decided I needed some good pictures of Nora so I made her a bow and shirt and got some fun ones for absolutely no reason. She is such a sweetheart and so smiley!

Who doesn't love a baby playing with their feet?! It's my favorite!

First painted toes!

Of course the kids love this Holiday too!

lunch for Ava, she was so surprised!

Dresden painted and decorated his little box for pre-school.

She loves this heart hair!

I love when they get along. They were so cute when they came home and wanted to show each other all their treats. The like to swap because Ava loves chocolate and Dresden doesn't!

Pretty flowers from Eric

And our tradition of making heart shape pizza continued.

RSV

Poor Nora got RSV the first week in February. It was so sad and I hated seeing her sick. She was a trooper though and actually liked having her breathing treatments. She didn't like the one that covers her mouth and nose, only the one she could chew on. Of course we didn't mind the cuddles and she wasn't a great sleeper anyways so that didn't really change much! It took about a week and a half for her to feel better. Winter stinks! Not sure about a fall baby after all! :)

5 and 6 months

Wow time went by too fast!   I'm combining 5 and 6 months this time.

This little babe is the cutest thing ever. But don't be fooled by her sweet looks, she was a little stinker at night!  Trying to figure out her schedule was hard and we are just now getting it worked out. She was waking up 3 and 4 times at night. I remember dreading going to bed because I knew I would be up soon. I think she occasionally had a good night but it was rare.

-We started her on solid foods a week before she was 6 months. She had oatmeal and loved it! She now loves everything except peaches, peas, and mixed vegetable. She gets so excited to eat. She is messy and always puts her hands in her mouth after every bite.
-She did not like tummy time and was so lazy about rolling over
-She loved peek-a-boo and anytime her brother and sister look at her. Ava gets so rough with her and that seams to be the time she laughs the hardest!
-She has an easy going personality. Still a mama's girl and in no hurry to do anything
-She won't eat puffs. She just pushes it out with her tongue and looks so confused about why we would put it in her mouth!
-Her bath toys are her favorite toys. She loves to squish the air into her mouth when she is chewing on them. They have never actually made it into the bath though! :)
-She started sitting up and it's the cutest thing. I love that perfect posture babies have. This is a great age when she can play and doesn't go anywhere!

6 MONTHS!!!

4 months old and January

I can't believe it's March already. I am so far behind on the blog. I love having it but it takes so much time when I get behind. I am going to try and get caught up with the last few months really quick! So here's January.

Little miss Nora turned 4 months on January 6th. It was such a fun age that went by way to fast! She is such a good baby and we are so lucky to have her in our family. These are some things I remember about her at that age.
-She would not take a bottle ever.  Both Ava and Dresden were great with a bottle so that was hard to get used to. Although it really was only hard in Utah.
-She didn't like tummy time very much! She still doesn't but is now pretty quick to roll over.
-She is NOT a good sleeper!! She was waking up 2 and 3 times a night and refused to go back unless I fed her.
-She had very bad stranger anxiety. That was hard to go home to family and see her be scared of them. After we got home they even had to come get me from my work out a few times. Her little sad lip was the sweetest thing though. She is a mama's girl for sure!
-She takes a binky great now.
We love this little chubber girl so much! She is such a sweet and happy baby.

4 Month stats:
Height: 26 1/2 inches -95%
Weight: 15lbs 8 oz -72%
Head: 42cm

My sweet nephew gave Dresden his old Hulk gloves. Dresden was so thrilled and they quickly became the favorite toy! We had Talmage over for a play date and they were so excited to play together again. They were so hilarious playing with the gloves I had to grab my camera. And the the great thing about boys is that they were still friends at the end despite the pretty hard hits they were giving each other!

Nora was pretty entertained by them too!

As we were getting ready for school we got a call saying it was going to be a snow day! Ava was so excited and loved that she was going to get to stay with Nora all day. She can be such a good helper too, she took her in her room and read her books while I got ready. And Dresden loves being right by his big sister.

Ava had her friend Tatum over and I thought it was funny that all they wanted to do was play with Nora! They really wanted her to be their living doll! :)

My handsome little guy had his first day of Primary! He was so excited to be with the big kids. A few weeks in he said he wanted to go back to nursery though. Unfortunately for him he left some amazing nursery leaders who had super fun things for them to do and eat every Sunday! But he loves it now and  especially loved giving the scripture a couple weeks ago. He wasn't scared at all and had the biggest smile on his face. When we finished a few of the teachers mentioned how well he did for a sunbeam! I was so proud of him!

These next three are from Utah.
Our last Sunday in Utah and my first picture of me with my THREE kids. Love them!

Spa pedicures with grandma and Sienna

Ava lost her second tooth while we were there! She loves loosing them and was so excited for the Tooth fairy! That darn tooth fairy took an extra day to get there :) but she made it!

On another snow day we spend lots of time painting. When I came into the kitchen I noticed they were hung up with band aids! Ava said we ran out of magnets...silly girl! Dresden also painted a lot which is huge for him.

Wiggle worm managed to almost slide right out of her swing. She is so funny and gets kicking those little legs and arches her way right out. I love her face and how her finger is pointing!

Big girl in her first t-shirt. She looked so grown up!

We went swimming with our friends the Nehrings one day. It was snowing like crazy so it felt weird to be swimming but it was fun and of course the kids loved every second. We came back to our house after for pizza and playing!

We go out to dinner every month someone has a birthday. This was the January birthdays at Lazlo's! Someone actually took a picture this time!

Dresden's first person! He is really getting into drawing. That scribble in the middle is the heart!

Family movie night watching Hotel Transylvania. We love that show! Eric even made us some yummy kettle corn!

The kids always want Nora to have tummy time on their tummies! It's pretty cute.

Flight home

Our flight home was a little crazy. My mom was so sweet to take me and get a gate pass so she could walk me there and help me with the kids. They said they don't normally do that so I was so glad, especially since as I was walking into the airport I got a call on my phone saying the flight was delayed a half hour! So annoying. So we head to security and I get another call saying it's delayed an hour and a half. It's starting to get annoying. So then we get to the gate and find out that it's now delayed 4 hours! What!?!! Thankfully my mom was able to stay with me, I would have been going crazy with the three kids. But seriously that is ridiculous! They gave us food vouchers, after we had already eaten of course. So we used them on cookies for the kids!

The actual flight was pretty good, the kids did great but were anxious to get home and see daddy! We made sure the potable dvd player was charged and we also had the ipad. I'm so glad we got to go home, we love spending time with family!
