Sweet

So sweet, Dresden just brought Ava a book and sat down between her legs. She was cute and started reading to him. I had to run grab my camera it was just one of those moments! I love when they play nice!
I kinda forgot about pictures during this vacation so my flash was never on my camera!! Oh well!

Bowling

We went bowling with my sister and her family. There is a new bowling alley right in Lehi. It's so nice! Ava always has fun bowling. She is such a good big sister. She loved helping Dresden and always made sure to tell him "good job"! She also loves her new cousin Sienna. I love that my sister isn't working and we get to hang out all day. They take good care of us when we come to visit! Thanks guys!

Yup...she did it!

Ava cut her own hair!! Seriously I was in shock when I saw her. She was sitting at my mom's vanity putting make-up on and there was a pair of scissors there. I came in and saw the pile of hair on the counter. She said "I put my make-up on and cut my hair" like it was nothing. She didn't think anything of it. I have trimmed her hair before but never let her know what I was doing. I have heard about alot of other kiddo's doing it but I was afraid to talk to her about it I might put the idea in her head. But believe me she KNOWS that it was not ok now! She is actually pretty cute about it and feels really bad. She gets kinda mad when I try to show people. It looked worse at first than it really is. We basically just switched her part over to cover it up. I am thinking about bangs or just cutting it shorter? I love her long thick hair though. Everyone has said that it could have been worse, but it's still pretty annoying!

Birthday Party

My niece and Nephew's birthdays are only a couple weeks apart so they had a big birthday party for both of them. My sister-in-law Jenn does such cute birthday parties. It was a Karate theme. They had fun games and yummy food. We all had a great time hanging out.

Dresden had sort of a love/hate relationship with "tank" my brothers dog. So looking at him through the window was perfect for Dresden. They look so cute!

Pirate Party- Utah

We drove to Utah a few weeks ago for Eric's two week break. It was a much needed break!
One of my brother's boys has a preschool teacher that has these super fun parties a couple times a month. She does it on a Friday and Saturday night for parents to have a night out. It's only $10 a kid and she gets dinner, crafts, movie and all sorts of fun things for 4 hours. All her cousins were going and they got a spot for Ava! She was beyond excited. She asked every morning if she could play with her cousins! It was a pirate party! She had the cutest little things and of course had a blast because all her cousins were there. They take such good care of her, it's nice not to have to worry! We enjoyed hanging out with my whole family with no kids(Eric's mom watched Dresden for us)! We went to dinner at Texas Road House together.

Friends

Ava is at the age where she loves to have friends over! She asks almost every day. They are so good to play and entertain each other. She has some very cute friends too. These are just a few random ones.

just a trim

Before we left or Utah I had Ava's hair trimmed. It was only about an inch that was cut but I think it looks so much better! I just though she looked so cute so I took a few pictures. She was so good during it I told her she could get a toy. We went to target and she picked out these bead things. They are actually pretty cute.
