First day of 1st grade and Last first day of Pre-School

Pre-School

 ^^Love my sweet boy! He was so happy to have his last first day of pre-school!^^

AUGUST

 ^^We are loving all the space we have in our house! The whole thing is hardwood except for the stairs and hallway upstairs. We needed a couple rugs to make it more comfortable when the kids are wrestling daddy and playing with toys! :) ^^

 ^^Nora loves the tree house as much as the big kids and Ava loves playing with Nora.^^

 ^^Ava's first soccer practice. She was SO excited and did really well for her first time. She was on a team that has been playing together for a few years. The coach was pretty intense too, most weeks he held two practices. One of Eric's assistance helped us get on the same team with her daughter. It was nice to know at least one person on the team. :) ^^

 ^^Nora was getting so good at standing on her own and even taking a few steps during all the soccer practices.^^

 ^^Dresden's first soccer practice. They were the Sharks! Dresden loved it and especially the running part!

 ^^I spoke in Church and our neighbors the Lauritzen's brought me over one of their beautiful giant flowers. They are the sweetest. We were extremely sad to hear about brother Barry's sudden passing last week. They were such a cute couple and our only Mormon neighbors.^^

 ^^Eric's work had a summer party and the kids had a blast. She literally lives in the woods in a huge house. They of course loved the pinata. ^^

 ^^After enough peer pressure they convinced Eric to do the Sumo suit. I'm proud to say he won! haha Too bad my phone died right after this picture and I couldn't video it!^^

Dresden had a meet and greet with his teachers and got to play with the other kids for awhile. Nora was happy to tag along where ever he went.^^

Colorado Springs Zoo

8.28.2013

^^We heard this should be at the top of our list of places to see so we were pretty excited to check it out. It did not disappoint. Zoo's are great but what makes it fun is being able to see the animals close up. There were so many animals that we could get so close to, it was fun for even Eric and I.

^^We realized when we got out that we all had on twinner shoes!^^

^^One of the coolest things for the kids! They loved feeding the giraffes and even petting them.^^

^^Their tongues are so long!^^

^^The views were pretty great!^^

^^The sky ride was so fun. I wasn't sure if they would even let us take Nora but they didn't say anything. It was scary considering there aren't any seat belts, but she is such a chill baby she was fine. We played at the top and got some cotton candy for the ride down.^^

^^Dresden is so funny! When he saw this sign he said something like "oh only girls can go up there Mom!" :) ^^

^^ I think the elephants were my favorite! A few minutes after we got there one came right over and got in the water to play around. We were so close it was almost splashing us.^^

^^We let Nora out to watch an elephant get cleaned off! She was very entertained.^^

^^ A big tiger and a grizzly bear!^^

^^Ava was so happy to be able to touch the animals and get so close.^^

^^ So crazy they are not really fenced in but the kangaroo's were just jumping around.^^

^^After we stopped at BJ's for dinner and of course some cookies with ice cream on top! Such a fun day together!^^

Random August

Doesn't get any cuter than this! This sweet baby at 11 months old!

We had the craziest weather here. It was hailing for awhile, then the sun came out, and then a rainbow all within about 20 minutes.

^the kids had fun gathering the big ones!^^

 ^^Ava loves playing "pig" or "horse" and Nora loves playing in the rocks!^^

One day we had fun with Chalk. Ava was really getting into it and having fun.

^^Little miss Nora got really into books and had become obsessed with them. I love it and especially love the booty backup to sit on my lap when she wants to read!^^
