Bear Lake 2013

July 28th- August 3rd
Time again for my favorite vacation! It was so much fun but I really missed Richard. I stayed in the room he stayed in last year and for some reason that made it even worse. I sure thought about him a lot! So glad Angi and the kids came for the last half.
This will be picture overload but we were there for almost a full week! My mom, sister and I went up for a few days by ourselves and then the rest came Thursday night. Dresden has already been asking when we are going to Bear Lake again!

^^This little stinker was obsessed with the stairs. She thought she was pretty funny!^^

^^It's been a long time since grandma has held "twins"! :)^^

^^Robyn and I introduced the kids to the classic game of tether ball!^^ (I smoked Robyn by the way)

^^LOVE LOVE LOVE the paddle boards. Next year we will for sure own a set!^^

^^Nora looking like a big girl without a high chair.^^

^^After riding out to the tramp on the giant tube Nora was out! It was so cute. I though she was going to hate the life jacket but she didn't.^^

Angi and I on the paddle boards. It was so funny trying to turn ourselves toward the camera.

One night we wrote down memories of Richard and then watched his video. He loved Jelly Belly candies!

^^Nora and Turbo. She loves dogs and wouldn't stop staring at him.^^

 ^^These two!! So funny together!^^

^^Nora watched Ava do a somersault and immediately tried herself. She was getting so close too, I was pretty impressed.^^

^^She found the toilet paper! I have pictures of all the kids the first time they find it and destroy it. I don't know why but it's adorable to watch!^^

The annual Talent Show that the kids look forward to every year. Dresden did the Gangnam Style dance. Ava did the monkey bars.

^^I love his face!^^

^^Ava loves challenging herself on the monkey bars.^^

Angi and I stayed after and were doing tricks. Angi was getting so close to doing a pull over! ^^

^^Chance shot his bow and arrow for the talent show and Rob let Ava have a turn.^^

^^ Ava was dying for a ride in the razor!^^

Somehow we always end up at the pool! Probably because there is a hot tub! The kids (and adults) were having a blast having chicken fights! One of my favorite memories this year for sure!! It was so funny! The girls did a little cheerleading and Angi and I did basket toss's with them. We taught the big boys how to to them and then we took turns doing back flips off them. So sad no one got pictures, only video.

^^Cool girl in her sunglasses!^^

^^Fireworks on the beach and the boat parade that was really far away!^^

^^my mom bought a million glow sticks and the kids were making the coolest things with them.^^

^^Smores the last night!^^

Until next year Bear Lake!! :)

^^We CAN NOT go to Utah without stopping at Banbury Cross Donuts! We stopped on the way to the airport. They are the best donuts ever!!  My mom and sister even picked us up from the airport with a box of them because they know I am obsessed!^^

^^Ava had my phone and wanted to take a picture. :)^^

Utah trip

July 25

We were able to go to Utah the end of July for a much need little vacation. We were in Lehi for a few days and we always have a blast! It goes way to fast.
Just the kids and I flew out and then Eric was meeting us in Bear Lake. We hadn't ever flew out of Denver before and it was a pretty early flight. Well Denver is the biggest airport and was not easy to get around with three kids. We were running everywhere and waited in a huge line for security. Long story short we miss our flight!! So annoying, the plane was still at the gate too. I have never missed a flight so I had no idea what to do. Lucky for us there was another flight in an hour that had room. Lesson learned...be VERY early for flights out of Denver!

^^Dresden choking hugging Nora?? :) Nora loved looking out the window too.^^
^^We got together to celebrate my Dad's birthday and the kids were having so much fun playing with their cousins. They just love them!^^

^^Our first waffle truck experience did not disappoint!  So yummy! Why does Utah get everything?^^

Yay for a little reunion! Camille and her cute family were driving through Utah and they stopped and visited with us at a park. So so good to see them and catch up a bit. We miss you guys! Thanks for stopping by!

^^Nora and Carly being adorable!^^

^^My first time seeing the Headstone. It looks so good. Miss him so much!^^

^^Bryn pushing a giant baby doll! :)^^

 ^^Nora was loving Sienna's little trike.^^

^^chubby little legs and feet :)^^

^^ After playing in the sand box the girls needed a quick sink bath. It's so fun seeing them together. They have such different personalities. Khloe is much more hyper and excited and Nora is quiet and almost shy sometimes. ^^

One night we got together with Angi and the kids for a little Cafe Rio, night swimming at Robyn's pool, and snow cones.
^^Bryn taught Ava to do tricks into the pool. ^^

^^They also showed up in the exact same suit! Cute little twinners.^^

^^Nora was a little confused as to why she had to share her snacks! :)^^

^^Khloe was so cute climbing all over Dresden's back!^^

^^ The girls were tackling grandma for a bite of snow cone!^^

^^Khloe was always trying to pull Nora's hair. It was so funny. As soon as she got close we knew exactly what was coming.^^
